Dr Vidya Bhushan R completed his undergraduation from St.Johns Medical College Hospital, Bengaluru. Thereafter, he served for 2 years in underprivileged areas. He had keen interest in the area of Head and Neck Oncology. He went to do Masters in ENT, Head and Neck Surgery from St. Johns Medical College Bangalore. Thereafter, he pursued Fellowship In Head and Neck Surgical Oncology from the Prestigious MSCC, Narayana Health city. He worked in CMC, Vellore for 1 year after the fellowship. With Keen interest in Endoscopic skull base oncology, he was awarded the prestigious UICC fellowship in Endoscopic Skullbase surgery. He has trained under world renowned Prof Paolo Castelnuovo in Italy in the field of Skullbase surgery. He has various national and international publications to his credit. He worked as consultant in the Department of Head and Neck Oncology, Mazumdar Shaw Cancer centre, Narayana health from 2017 to 2025. Presently he is working as Senior Consultant, Head and Neck Surgical Oncology in SPARSH Hospital, Hennur Road, Bangalore. His key area of interest is endoscopic skull base oncosurgery.
